Thank you for being a Portfolio8 Connect Connector.
Every Connector plays an important role in helping grow a trusted business community by introducing quality businesses that value collaboration, networking and supporting one another.
These guidelines explain how the Connector Program operates and the standards expected of every Connector.
1. Purpose of the Connector Program
The Portfolio8 Connect Connector Program has been created to encourage members to introduce genuine businesses that will add value to the Portfolio8 Connect community.
Our focus is on building long-term business relationships—not simply increasing member numbers.
2. Your Connector Link
Every Portfolio8 Connect member receives a unique Connector Link.
Your Connector Link allows businesses to join Portfolio8 Connect while identifying you as the referring Connector.
Only memberships completed through your unique Connector Link will be recognised as referrals.
3. Who Can You Invite?
We encourage you to invite:
Local businesses
Sole traders
Professional service providers
Retail businesses
Hospitality businesses
Trades and contractors
Health and wellness providers
Community organisations
Entrepreneurs and business owners
Our goal is to create a diverse and supportive business network.
4. Sharing Your Connector Link
You are welcome to share your Connector Link through:
QR Codes
Business Cards
Flyers
Networking Events
Business Meetings
Personal Recommendations
Always represent Portfolio8 Connect professionally and honestly.
5. Marketing Materials
To maintain a consistent brand, we recommend using the official Portfolio8 Connect marketing resources whenever possible.
If you create your own promotional material, it must:
Accurately represent Portfolio8 Connect.
Not contain misleading or false information.
Not imply promises or guarantees that Portfolio8 Connect has not made.
Maintain a professional standard consistent with the Portfolio8 Connect brand.
Portfolio8 Connect reserves the right to request the removal or amendment of promotional material that does not meet these standards.
6. Connector Rewards
Connectors may receive rewards for introducing businesses that become active paying members.
Rewards are based on the current Connector Rewards Program and may change from time to time.
Only successful memberships that meet the eligibility requirements will qualify.
7. Self-Referrals
Self-referrals are not eligible for Connector Rewards.
A Connector cannot earn rewards by joining Portfolio8 Connect themselves or by creating duplicate or false memberships.
8. Professional Conduct
As a Connector you agree to:
Act honestly and professionally.
Respect other members and businesses.
Promote Portfolio8 Connect in a positive manner.
Avoid misleading advertising or exaggerated claims.
Comply with all applicable laws relating to marketing and electronic communications.
Portfolio8 Connect is built on trust, integrity and genuine business relationships.
9. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are not permitted:
Spam emails or unsolicited mass messaging.
Misrepresentation of Portfolio8 Connect.
False, deceptive or misleading advertising.
Fake or duplicate memberships.
Using the Portfolio8 Connect name in a way that could damage the brand.
Impersonating Portfolio8 Connect or claiming to be an employee or authorised representative.
10. Connector Rewards Review
Portfolio8 Connect reserves the right to review referrals where unusual activity or suspected abuse is identified.
Rewards may be withheld while a review is undertaken.
11. Suspension or Removal
Portfolio8 Connect may suspend or remove a Connector from the program where there is evidence of:
Fraudulent activity.
Abuse of the Connector Program.
Misuse of the Portfolio8 Connect brand.
Conduct likely to damage the reputation of Portfolio8 Connect.
Repeated breaches of these Guidelines.
Where appropriate, any outstanding eligible rewards will be processed before closure of the Connector account.
12. Changes to the Connector Program
Portfolio8 Connect may update these Connector Guidelines, reward levels, promotional resources or program features from time to time.
The latest version will always be available within the Connector Hub.
